Bhubaneswar: In a key development, the Odisha government is planning to launch e-booking of ambulances. The ambulances can be booked online for the ease of the patients. The Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhushan Jena has informed about online booking of ambulance on Tuesday. This system will be introduced very soon. While speaking to the media person, the Odisha government will soon begin the process of online booking for the patients. The Minister said, “Ambulances can now be booked through Odisha Yatri app. The Transport department will be the authority of the ambulance service.” According to information, Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) will aid in roping in the ambulance services through online booking. The Odisha Government will soon prepare a road chart for this. The ambulance services of several private hospitals will be also be available through the app.
