Pipili: In a bizarre incident, an eight-foot-long python was caught in fishing net this morning from Satasankha Ratna Chira river in Pipili of Puri district. The snake helpline was informed who then rescued the eight-foot-long python from the net. The snake helpline personnel tactfully caught the python inside a black polythene bag. Sources said, the fishermen discovered the huge python in the fishing net. Seeing the giant sized python the fishermen got scared. They brought the caught python to the shore where the snake helpline rescued the giant reptile. The snake will be most likely released in the Bhubaneswar based Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT).
