Manila, 1/10: The death toll from a magnitude 6.9 earthquake in the central Philippines has risen to 22, DZMM radio reported on Wednesday, citing reports from the Cebu provincial information office.

An earthquake of magnitude 6.9 struck Leyte island in the Philippines on Tuesday, the Philippine seismology agency Phivolcs said.
