Negligence while handling the stove may have led to the incident.On receiving information, fire services personnel from the Tamando Fire Station rushed to the spot. Two fire tenders and around 14 firefighters were deployed to control the blaze.The market complex has several offices and shops in close proximity, which raised concerns about the fire spreading further. However, timely intervention by the fire services personnel helped bring the situation under control and prevented a major mishap.
