Cuttack: Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) has raided a bottled water company in Shankarpur area of Das Sahi area in Cuttack city of Odisha on Wednesday. According to reports, the Health department shall investigate into the matter. The raid was conducted as there have been increase in the number of diarrhea case all over Odisha. The papers of the company were checked. The Department has received allegations that the company did not have proper arrangements for clean water and bottling. After the raid, the health department has sealed the water bottling company. The CMC raid and investigation was held under the leadership of the public health officer. Earlier, CMC had conducted raids to check food safety at eateries in various areas of Cuttack. The food safety team of Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) started its drive to check food quality across the Silver city.
