Dense fog engulfs Puri Jagannath temple, visibility drops to near zero .

Puri, March 23: Dense fog enveloped the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri on Monday, significantly reducing visibility in and around the temple premises. The heavy fog made it difficult to see the temple structure and the sacred Nilachakra atop it, even from a close distance. In several areas, including the Grand Road near-zero visibility was reported, causing inconvenience to both devotees and locals. The fog appeared to have a strong impact on the area, especially following the massive rush of devotees the previous day. Thousands of pilgrims gathered at the temple for darshan of Lord Jagannath, with long queues stretching from Singhadwara to Marichikot Square. Devotees were seen waiting for hours to offer their prayers. To manage the heavy crowd, the local police administration had made special arrangements, ensuring a smooth and orderly darshan experience for the devotees. Authorities are monitoring the situation, and further updates are awaited
