Dhamra, 23.01.2026: New railway line has been commissioned inside the Dhamra Port project area, marking a significant step towards enhancing the port’s cargo handling capacity.

On this special inaugural occasion, the Chief Executive Officer of Dhamra Port, Mr. Devendra Thakar, formally flagged off the first train, marking the commencement of rail operations on the newly commissioned line. This milestone adds another proud chapter to the illustrious history of Dhamra Port, with the successful commissioning of a key infrastructure upgrade aimed at substantially enhancing the port’s cargo handling capacity.
