Today, Sri Adwaita Prasad Mallick, Ex-Principal, A/p Lecturer in Odia and Sri Badri Narayan Ray, Ex-President both of Chitalo Degree Mohavidyalaya, Jajpur were arrested by Odisha Vigilance for misappropriation of Govt. funds over Rs.32,07,620/- meant for self-defence programme of girls of the said college.
In this connection, Cuttack Vigilance PS Case No.40 dt.31.12.2025 U/s- 13 (2) r/w 13 (1)(a) PC Act,2018/409/120(B) IPC was registered against them. Both the accused persons namely Sri Adwaita Prasad Mallick and Sri Badri Narayan Ray were forwarded today to the Hon’ble Court.
Investigation of the case is in progress.
