Bhadrak: In a shocking incident, a loud sound was heard today around 10.55 am at several places in Bhadrak district. A white line was also seen in the sky following the loud sound. The source of the sound is yet to be ascertained. Some people reported of experiencing vibrations in the bolt (jhikiri) of their houses in Bhandari pokhari area. Earlier on March 3, 2025 a loud mysterious sound was heard in Jajpur district. After coming out of their houses within no time, the panicked people looked up at the sky and around but could not trace the source of the sound even though it resonated for a few minutes. This is not the first time such mysterious loud sound was heard from the sky of Odisha. Such incident has occurred several times in the recent past. Earlier on June 7, 2024, such mysterious loud sound was reported from some parts of Balasore and Bhadrak districts. People also had witnessed the same on June 6, 2024. Besides, people of Jajpur, Bhadrak and Keonjhar’s Anandapur area had heard some mysterious loud sound from the sky on November 24, 2022.
