Angul: In a tragic firecracker accident in Angul district of Odisha, a son died and a man was critically injured, said reliable reports on Tuesday. The incident took place in Sipur village under Samal police station in Angul district.The deceased son has been identified as Saroj Pradhan, while the injured father has been identified as Pramod Pradhan. Pramod’s hand has been severed. He has been shifted to Cuttack in critical condition.It is worth mentioning that a fight broke out between Saroj and his brother, Saroj was threatening him with a firecracker at that time, the firecracker exploded in Saroj’s hand and he died on the spot.Pramod was seriously injured when he went to stop the fight.
