Inauguration of Solar Drinking Water Project at Khedapada
 Rayagada /Therubali :- A solar drinking water project, established at Khedapada as part of the CSR initiatives of IMFA and the Banshidhar & Ila Panda Foundation, was inaugurated by Sri Bijayananda Mahapatra, Whole time Director & COO of IMFA Group. The ceremony was attended by dignitaries, including Sri Suresh Kumar Babu, Bureau Head of IMFA Group, Sri Ashish Kumar Ray, Vice-President & EIC of IMFA, Sri Haladhar Himirika, Vice-Chairman of Kolonara Panchayat Samiti, and Sri Narasingh Kilaka, Sarapanch of Khedapada. Hundreds of villagers, both men and women, were present to witness the event.
The tribal community of Khedapada warmly welcomed the dignitaries with traditional pooja at the Gramadevi Bije Sthali and greeted them with cultural performances by the tribal Ghirika dance troupe. The dignitaries were honored with Uttariya in accordance with tribal traditions. Additionally, a pooja was conducted inside the Sriram Temple following Vedic rituals.
Sri Bijayananda Mahapatra officially inaugurated the Solar Drinking Water Project by unveiling the plaque and switching on the solar pump. During his address to the gathering, he assured continued support for the social development of the locality. The Vice-Chairman and Sarapanch commended IMFA for its contributions to local development, describing the organization as the “rice bowl” of the area.
Sri Harishchandra Panigrahi, President of the Sri Ram Mandir Parichalana Committee, welcomed the guests, and Sri Lingaraj Panigrahi extended the vote of thanks. The COO, Bureau Head, and Vice-President also interacted with beneficiaries of the Kanya Express initiative and Women SHG members at Khedapada .
