London, 30/7: England captain Ben Stokes will miss the fifth and final cricket Test against India at the Oval staring on Thursday (July 31) with a shoulder injury.
In his absence, Ollie Pope will lead England with Jacob Bethell recalled to replace Stokes at No.6 in the batting order. “Captain Ben Stokes is unavailable due to a right shoulder injury,” the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said in a statement.
