Rayagada/VSKP :- Indian Railways has rolled out a special “Round Trip Package” scheme to ease festive season travel. Effective from August 14, 2025, the scheme offers a 20% discount on the base fare of return journeys, provided onward and return tickets are booked together for the same class and route.
The offer is valid for onward travel between October 13–26, 2025, and return travel between November 17–December 1, 2025. Passenger details must remain the same for both legs of the journey. Onward ticket must be booked first, followed by the return ticket using the Connecting Journey feature. Return tickets are exempt from Advance Reservation Period limits. Both tickets must be booked through the same mode—either online or at counters. 20% rebate applies only on the base fare of the return journey. Scheme valid for all trains and classes, including specials, but excluded from Flexi Fare trains. No refund will be given on tickets booked under the scheme. No other concessions, coupons, passes, or PTOs will be applicable.
The initiative aims to distribute festive rush more evenly, improve train utilization on both directions, and ensure smoother booking during peak demand.
