Jindal Steel Celebrates 79th Independence Day at Angul

 Angul:

Jindal Steel celebrated the 79th Independence Day with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm at its Angul Steel Plant. Shri  Naveen Jindal, Chairman of Jindal Steel and Hon. Member of Parliament for the third time  from Kurukshetra, Haryana, unfurled the National Flag at Jindal Nagar.

True independence will come when our farmers become global entrepreneurs, our youth create jobs instead of seeking for  jobs , our villages are connected to highways with 24×7 power and quality education, every citizen has access to healthcare, every home has food, and our daughters can walk fearlessly even at night. The India of my dreams is one where we break the walls of caste and creed and take pride only in being Indian.”

The celebrations featured a series of captivating patriotic performances by students of O.P. Jindal School, Jindal Asha, and DAV–Savitri Jindal School, which enthralled the audience and filled the event with a strong sense of national pride.

Mr. Pankaj Malhan, Executive Director-in-Charge, expressed his appreciation to all attendees and participants for making the day special and for their continued commitment to the nation and to Mr. Naveen Jindal’s vision of building the country of our dreams.

Along with Mr. Hridayswar Jha, Executive Director – Special Projects, and Mr. Damodar Mittal, Executive Director – Projects, the grand celebration at O.P. Jindal School, Angul, drew a large gathering from neighbouring villages, employees with their families, and other guests.
