JSW Steel inaugurates new corporate office in Barbil

Barbil: JSW Steel Odisha Mining Division inaugurated its new corporate office near Barbil town on Friday, marking a significant milestone in its journey. The inauguration was accompanied by a puja on the premises, reflecting the company’s deep-rooted cultural values.
Senior management, including Business Head Shri Prasanna Panda, Mining Operations Head Shri Ram Shankar Sharma, HR Head Shri Chittaranjan Bahinipati, and Security & Safety In-charge Shri Sanjeev Choudhury, led the ceremony.
Spanning 1.87 acres, the new office features a guest house, a well-maintained lawn, enhanced parking facilities, and a landscaped garden, providing a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environment for employees. The two-story building is designed to accommodate around 100 employees, ensuring ample workspace that promotes collaboration and productivity.
Built with a strong focus on sustainability, the office integrates eco-friendly elements such as energy-efficient LED lighting, an upgraded transformer, and solar panels, reinforcing JSW’s commitment to environmental responsibility. Additionally, the facility is designed to improve energy consumption efficiency while maintaining high operational standards.
The new corporate office also boasts advanced security measures, including surveillance systems and access control mechanisms, ensuring a safe and secure workplace. Modern conference rooms, ergonomic workspaces, and recreational areas further enhance employee well-being and foster innovation.
The puja and inaugural celebrations witnessed enthusiastic participation from employees and senior officials.
