Barbil:(Correspondent) :- With patriotic fervor echoing across the nation, JSW Steel’s Odisha Mining Division proudly commemorated the 79th Independence Day across all its locations in the state. The celebrations unfolded with vibrant enthusiasm at Nuagaon Mines, Jajang Mine, Ganua Mines, Narayanposhi Mines, Central Office- Barbil, and Bhubaneswar Office—each location radiating the spirit of freedom, unity, and national pride.
At Narayanposhi Iron and Manganese Ore Mines, the atmosphere was especially electrifying. The soul-stirring chorus of “Vande Mataram” reverberated through the hills and valleys, enveloping the surroundings in a wave of patriotic emotion.
The celebration was elevated by the esteemed presence of JSW Steel’s senior leadership, including Mr. Sauvick Mazumder, Chief Operating Officer (Mining Business); Mr. Prasanna Panda, Odisha mining Business Head; Mr. Ram Shankar Sharma, Head of Operations and Projects; and Mr. Chittaranjan Bahinipati, Head of HR-Admin. They were joined by respective mines managers and dedicated employees, whose collective presence added immense prestige and meaning to the occasion
The day’s proceedings began with the ceremonial hoisting of the national flag by the esteemed chief guest, setting a tone of reverence and pride. This was followed by a disciplined and spirited parade by the security team, symbolizing strength, coordination, and dedication to the nation.
The celebrations were further enlivened by patriotic songs and dramatic skits performed by employees and local artists, stirring deep emotions among attendees. A standout moment was the mesmerizing Odisha’s Gotipua dance performance, where school students captivated the audience with their elegant movements and daring acrobatics.
