Bhubaneswar, March 24: Serious allegations of medical negligence have been levelled against Capital Hospital following the death of an 11-year-old boy. The grieving family has accused doctors of improper treatment and a staff nurse of administering a wrong injection, leading to the minor’s death.According to reports, the deceased, Sai (11) from Tangi Kalupada, sustained injuries after falling off his bicycle on Monday morning. He was initially admitted to a nearby hospital. As his condition deteriorated, he was shifted to Capital Hospital for advanced treatment.However, the minor died while undergoing treatment at the hospital. Following the incident, family members alleged that medical negligence, including wrong treatment and injection, led to his death.The family has gathered near the post-mortem house, demanding justice and unable to accept the sudden demise. Tension prevailed outside the mortuary premises, prompting authorities to deploy adequate police forces to maintain order.
