Namma Metro Yellow Line to be inaugurated by PM Modi on August 10; frequency 25 minutes

Bengaluru, 3/8: The Yellow Line of Namma Metro will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 10, with passenger operations beginning the same day or next day.

Three driverless trains will run every 25 minutes on the 19.15-km metro corridor that will connect RV Road to Bommasandra via Electronics City in southern Bengaluru. All 16 stations will be operational, a senior BMRCL official familiar with the matter told.
