Berhampur: On the lines of Tamil Nadu and Kerala government, back benches in the Sahanipur Government Upper Primary were removed in Berhampur of Ganjam district. In its place, a semi-circular arrangement or U-shaped arrangement for the students was done. This arrangement was adopted and has been a week. There are 262 students in the class. A teacher in the school, Nilima Mohapatra suggested the seating arrangement being following in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The school management liked the idea and decided to adopt it. This also served the purpose of discipline among the students as the teacher will be able to notice every student. The blackboard of the classroom will be visible to every student and teachers and the parents of the students have appreciated the idea.
