OCAC to hear Aadhaar related grievance from Feb 16; registration mandatory on portal

In a significant move aimed at strengthening grievance redressal mechanisms related toAadhaar services, the Department of Electronics and Information Technology has announced the commencement of dedicated hearings for Aadhaar-related complaints starting February 16. The initiative is designed to provide citizens with a structured and official platform to address various issues concerning Aadhaar enrolment, updates, corrections, authentication errors, or other service-related grievances. As part of the process, individuals facing Aadhaar-related difficulties are required to register their complaints online in advance through the official odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC) portal at www.ocac.in. Applicants must complete the registration process and obtain a registration acknowledgement receipt, which will serve as proof of submission. Following successful online registration, complainants can appear in person before the grievance cell located on the ground floor of OCAC Tower. It is mandatory to carry the acknowledgement receipt at the time of the hearing. The department has clarified that the hearings will be conducted on every government working Monday, beginning at 10:30 AM.Citizens are advised to ensure their presence at the scheduled time to present their concerns directly before the designated officials for prompt review and necessary action. The department has urged all individuals experiencing Aadhaar-related issues to avail themselves of this opportunity to ensure timely and effective resolution of their grievances.
