The bandh has been called from 6 am to 2 pm.Along with the Navnirman Kishan Organization, the Navnirman Yuvachhatra Organization has also joined this bandh call.The Congress and CPI have expressed full support for the bandh call.The Navnirman Kishan Organization has called for the bandh in Odisha to protest against farmer problems, pollution, and the alleged arbitrary actions of Tata Power.They are demanding that all farmers should be paid Rs. 3100 per quintal for paddy, including MSP and input subsidy.Similarly, they have demanded that farmers be paid on time after buying paddy and that the token problem should be resolved.The Odisha bandh call has been given demanding strict action against brokers and corrupt officials. Emergency services will be excluded from this bandh call.
