Out of 37 complaints in Chitrakonda, drinking water issues is main one

Malkangiri AO correspondent 29/04,   A joint grievance redressal camp was organized under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Ashish Iswar Patil at the new auditorium of Chitrakonda Block Office, Malkangiri District. Malkangiri SP Vinod Patil, PD Naresh Shabar, Chitrakonda BDO Preeta Kumar, Chitrakonda Tehsildar Natwar Garda and senior officers of all departments of the district were present in this camp. A total of 37 complaints were registered in the Chitrakonda Block area in the camp. In this, more than ten thousand people live in Chitrakonda Sadar Sub-district, and clean drinking water remains a dream of the people. Despite the presence of the Sileru River all around Chitrakonda Sadar , the administration has not made any arrangements for clean water till date.  For the past 10 years, crores of rupees have been spent on the construction of a clean drinking water project near the Chitrakonda Durga Temple by the RWSS, but till date, people are still not getting clean drinking water. Even though complaints are being made about water and road problems in Chitrakonda at every grievance redressal camp, they are not being resolved. The immediate administration demanded that these complaints be resolved.
