President Droupadi Murmu Bids Farewell To Odisha After Impactful Six-Day

VisitBhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu concluded her six-day visit to Odisha, wrapping up a packed schedule of official, academic, and cultural engagements across five districts.Her whirlwind tour took her to Khordha, Jajpur, Balasore, Puri, and Mayurbhanj, where she connected with tribal women and youth, stressing the importance of community-driven development and inclusivity.The President’s visit showcased her commitment to Odisha’s growth, with a focus on empowering marginalized communities and promoting sustainable progress.Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi presented a book titled ‘Pragati Prabaha’, highlighting the state’s development journey, to President Droupadi Murmu at the Lok Bhawan before her departure for New Delhi. The President was bid farewell by Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati, Chief Secretary Anu Garg and BMC Mayor Sulochana Das at Bhubaneswar airport.Taking to his X account, CM wrote: “The pride of our Odisha soil, the Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu, before her return to New Delhi, met with courtesy today at the Lok Bhawan and was presented with a booklet titled ‘Pragati Prabaha’ related to the saga of the state’s development. Later, at the Bhubaneswar airport, she was present alongside the Hon’ble Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati to bid farewell to the Hon’ble President. The President’s visit is extremely memorable and inspiring for our state. Her guidance will always inspire us towards realizing the vision of a ‘Developed Odisha’.
