President Droupadi Murmu Concludes Similipal Visit, Travels to Bhubaneswar for Black Swan Conference

On Friday morning, President Murmu will depart from Gudugudia and visit Gudugudia Ground, where she will inaugurate a tribal community development initiative. As part of the programme, she will interact with tribal women and youth, highlighting the Government of India’s continued focus on inclusive growth, community welfare, and tribal empowerment.During her visit to Similipal, the President will also distribute blankets to residents living within the reserve area, reinforcing efforts to support local communities.Following the completion of her engagements in Similipal, President Murmu will travel to Bhubaneswar aboard a special flight from the Kaleikunda airbase. She is scheduled to attend the Black Swan Conference later in the day and will stay overnight at Lok Bhavan. The President is expected to depart for Chhattisgarh on Saturday.In view of the high-profile visit, elaborate security arrangements have been put in place across Mayurbhanj and Bhubaneswar. Senior administrative and police officials are overseeing security measures to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of all scheduled programmes.President Murmu is currently on a six-day visit to Odisha. Earlier in the week, she visited Puri, where she performed religious rituals, including Pinda Daan at Shwetaganga, and offered prayers at the Srimandir. She later travelled to her native place, Rairangpur, beforeproceeding to Similipal.
