Rajpal Yadav not ‘alone’ after Tihar Jail surrender in ₹9 crore case; Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn and others rally behind him

Rajpal Yadav, known for lighting up screens with his comic timing and heartfelt performances, is currently navigating one of the toughest phases of his life. Battling mounting legal and financial pressure, the actor-comedian recently surrendered at Tihar Jail in connection with a ₹9 crore cheque bounce case – a development that has stunned fans and the film fraternity alike. Moments before turning himself in, Yadav expressed his helplessness in an emotional appeal. He said, “Sir, kya karoon? Mere paas paise nahin hain. Aur koi upaay nahin dikhta… Sir, yahan hum sab akele hain. There are no friends. I have to deal with this crisis on my own.” However, what followed revealed a different side of Bollywood – one rooted in solidarity. Soon after his surrender, several prominent names from the industry began extending their support to help Yadav settle the ₹9 crore liability. His manager, Goldie, shared that many colleagues have come forward without hesitation.Speaking about the overwhelming backing, Goldie told Screen, “A lot of people have reached out to help Rajpal Yadav. Actors like Sonu Sood, Salman Khan, and Ajay Devgn have extended their support. I was just on a call with David Dhawan, he too reached out. Ratan Nain, Varun Dhawan… many people are coming forward to help him this time, which Rajpal has deeply appreciated.” Did Rajpal Sought Help? When asked whether Rajpal had previously sought assistance before surrendering, Goldie chose not to delve deeper. “I would not like to comment on that,” he stated. Still, he emphasized the strength of collective support pouring in now.“The good thing is that after his situation worsened, the industry has stood behind him like a rock, and that should be appreciated. Everyone has made commitments, but such transactions don’t happen overnight,” he stated.
