RBI keeps repo rate unchanged at 6.5%

Mumbai, 10/8: The Reserve Bank of India has kept the repo rate unchanged at 6.5 per cent. Addressing the media, RBI governor Shaktikanta Das said, “Indian economy is exuding enhanced strength and has made significant progress towards controlling inflation.

In its last Monetary Policy meet held in June, the RBI had then too left its key lending rate untouched
