cuttack: A portion of the roof of an under-construction platform at Cuttack railway station collapsed on Wednesday afternoon, disrupting train operations and raising safety concerns.According to reports, the incident occurred on Platform 1, which is currently undergoing redevelopment. The collapsed section, estimated to be around 500 metres long, fell onto the railway tracks, blocking movement and causing delays to several trains.Debris from the roof and parts of the upper shed obstructed multiple tracks, prompting immediate action from railway authorities. Emergency teams were deployed to assess the damage and initiate clearance operations.As of now, no casualties have been reported.
