Bhubaneswar, 5/8:The Government of Odisha has appointed Smt. Shovana Mohanty from Karanjia, Remuna, Balasore, as the Chairperson of the Odisha State Commission for Women.
Smt. Mohanty will serve a term of up to three years, effective from August 5, 2025.
The Odisha State Commission for Women works to safeguard and promote the rights and interests of women in Odisha, addressing issues related to gender equality, safety, and empowerment through advocacy, policy recommendations, and grievance redressal.
