Today i.e. on 16.12.2025, Sri Ratnesh Kumar Pandey, JE, Pattamundai Block, Dist-Kendrapara was arrested by Odisha Vigilance *for misappropriation of Govt. funds without executing the work, i.e.,” Electification Project of Street lights” in Pattamundai Block during financial year, 2023-24*.
During investigation by the officers of Odisha Vigilance, Sri Pandey *was found to have misappropriated GP Developmental Funds and transferred the same to his Bank account being operated in SBI, Branch, Pipili*. So far, evidence of Rs 9.70 lakhs transferred to his personal accounts have been gathered and investigation is on to ascertain further evidence of misappropriation.
In this connection, Odisha Vigilance has registered case vide Cuttack Vigilance PS Case No.35/2025 U/s 13(2) r/w 13 (1)(a)/12 PC Act, 2018/409/120-B IPC against the accused Sri Pandey. Sri Ratnesh Kumar Pandey, JE, Pattamundai Block, Dist-Kendrapara *is being forwarded today to the Hon’ble Court of Spl. Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack*.
