Inauguration of the CBSE Cluster-II Athletics Meet 2025 was organised by KIIT International School under the aegis of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), at the Dutee Chand Athletics Stadium. The Sports Department of KIIT & KISS, with the strong support of KIIT University, efficiently managed all logistical and operational aspects to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the event. The event is scheduled from 7th to 11th August 2025, brings together more than 1000 young athletes, coaches, managers, and officials from over 115 schools across the region.
The ceremonial proceedings commenced at 10:00 AM with the assembly of participants, followed by a welcome and felicitation of the esteemed guests. Key dignitaries, including Shri Sonu Kamat, CBSE Observer, Mr. Sanjay Suar, Principal KIIT International School, and Dr. Monalisa Bal, Chairperson, KIIT International School, shared inspiring words of encouragement for the participants.
On this grand occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT, KISS & KIMS, extended a warm welcome to all the athletes, coaches, managers, and officials, and conveyed his best wishes for a successful meet. He emphasised the importance of holistic development through sports and encouraged every participant to compete with enthusiasm, and excellence.
All participating players and teams also expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Samanta, for his unwavering support and for providing world-class facilities that empower youth through education and sports.
