Balasore, September 20, 2025 – TP Northern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPNODL), a joint
venture between Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, has signed a Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) with the Balasore Marathon Association, becoming a prime associate
for the upcoming national-level Balasore Marathon.
The event is scheduled to be held on November 23, 2025, in Balasore and will be themed “Run
With the Sun”, focusing on encouraging the use of green energy and spreading awareness about
energy conservation.
The MoU was officially signed at the TPNODL Corporate Office in Balasore in the presence
of TPNODL CEO Mr. Gajanan Kale, other senior officials of TPNODL, and key members of
the Balasore Marathon Association.
As one of the main partners of the event, TPNODL will play a vital role in supporting and
promoting this marquee initiative. The marathon is expected to attract participants not only
from across Odisha but also from outside the state, making it a significant platform for public
engagement on sustainability and clean energy goals.
