Burla, July 30, 2025: TP Western Odisha Distribution Limited (TPWODL) has successfully
conducted a widespread large-scale Electricity Bill Revision Camp from 23rd to 25th July 2025,
reaching out to consumers across all sections, subdivisions, and division offices in its operational
areas.
The initiative was aimed at addressing consumer concerns related to electricity billing and ensuring
quick resolution of billing complaint. The camps were actively managed under the supervision of the
concerned SDOs and ESOs, who coordinated the arrangements and ensured smooth facilitation at
their respective offices.
During the three-day drive, a total of 4,002 consumers participated in the camps. Out of these, 1,234
billing complaint cases were resolved on the spot, offering immediate relief to the consumers.
Additionally, queries of 2,768 consumers were also addressed, where it was confirmed that no
billing error or dispute existed, further strengthening transparency and consumer confidence.
Similarly, a Consumer Complaint Resolution Camp organised by TPWODL at its Sambalpur East
Electrical Division Office in Bhutapada, on 25 th July 2025. The camp witnessed active participation
from consumers who raised various technical and commercial concerns related to metering, billing,
collection, power reliability, and supply quality. During the camp, many consumer complaints were
successfully addressed on the spot, showcasing TPWODL's commitment to prompt grievance
redressal and consumer satisfaction.
Consumers expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the swift response and effective resolution
provided by the TPWODL team. TPWODL remains committed to delivering quality service and
consumer satisfaction by continuing such proactive outreach programs in the future.
