A car belonging to Uttar Pradesh government minister Sanjay Nishad has met with an accident. The minister’s car overturned into a ditch while trying to save an animal. Five people, including four women workers, in the car were injured in the accident.Minister Sanjay Nishad was coming to Balia with a car on Tuesday night to join the Constitutional Rights Yatra organized by the party. The accident occurred near Januwan village under Khejuri police station. While trying to save the animal, the car lost control and overturned into a ditch. Many workers were injured in this.Minister Sanjay Nishad said that his party workers Rakesh Nishad, Ramarti, Usha, Geeta and Iravati Nishad were injured in the accident. Meanwhile, after receiving news about the accident, senior police and administrative officials reached the spot. All the injured were admitted to the district hospital.Earlier, several vehicles belonging to Sanjay Nishad’s convoy met with an accident near Kariha Bazaar on the Pratapgarh-Raebareli border. The minister also suffered minor injuries and was immediately admitted to the hospital.
