Wife brings serious allegations against OAS officer, files FIR

Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, serious allegations against an OAS officer currently posted in OSDMA has shocked everyone. The wife of Deputy General Manager (DGM) has brought serious allegations of cruel and irresponsible behaviour towards her and her newborn child. She has sought justice from the Mahila Police station and lodged a complaint against her husband Sarthak Sourav Mohapatra, her mother-in-law and her sister-in-law. The complainant Archana Dash who works as an Assistant Executive Engineer in the Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department, Govt of Odisha, has accused her husband of cruelty, negligence, wilful abandonment and mental harrassment and abuse, both towards her and their newborn child. As per the complaint, the duo got married with the consent of their family members. But only after few months of marriage, she was subjected to cruelty by her in-laws. She also mentioned that her husband left her and their newborn child in the hospital after her delivery. She was on her own during the discharge procedure after delivering their child. Mohapatra has not met or contacted them even as their child has turned 3-months-old and thus she is lodging a complaint in the Mahila police station.
