Dhenkanal: One person was killed and around 10 persons were injured after they were attacked by a wild boar while they had gone to a nearby pond in Indipur village of Dhenkanal district.The deceased has been identified as Bachan Nayak (55) of Indipur village.As per reports the wild boar attacked while Bachan and other villagers had gone to the nearby pond to attend nature’s call. Following which, Bachan and 10 others sustained serious injuries.Immediately, Bachan along with others were admitted to Dhenkanal District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) after which, his health condition deteriorated and shifted to SCB Medical and Hospital in Cuttack, where he died while undergoing treatment. The ten other people are still undergoing treatment.The wild boar who attacked the villagers is still roaming in the nearby villages and the villagers have demanded to capture the wild animal as soon as possible.
