Jajpur: A 108 ambulance met with an accident after its driver reportedly lost control near the Khanditar Bridge on National Highway-16 in Jajpur district of Odisha on Friday.In the accident, the driver and an attendant of the ambulance were seriously injured.As per the sources, the ambulance was carrying an ailing patient towards Bhubaneswar from Barchana to Kataka at around noon, when it lost its control and crashed into the cement crash barrier erected near the bridge.The ambulance driver and its attendant were injured and rushed to the Dharmasala Medical for treatment.However, the patient and one relative escaped unhurt.On receiving information, Kuakhia Police have initiated an inquiry to the incident.
