Significantly, from next year, the prices of the main materials used for the production of these home appliances, such as copper, aluminum, and steel, will increase. According to the report, due to this, the prices of these home appliances can also be increased by up to 10%.
Home applications of companies like LG, Panasonic, and Thomson, especially TV, refrigerator, and washing machine are popular. These companies have made it clear that prices will increase from January. However, Sony has not yet clear whether it will make it’s home appliances category expensive or not.
Panasonic India CEO Manish Sharma has said that prices will increase by 6-7% from January, but in the coming time, they can increase by 10-11%. He has also argued that the price hike can increase the prices of the products that are in production.
