Bhubaneswar, 15/2 (AO Bureau): The Statewide Odisha Bandh was observed by the Congress party against the rising prices of Petrol and Diesel. The bandh affected the vehicular movement across the state. The Congress party workers blocked the road and showed their protest against the rising fuel prices.

Passengers at major bus stands in the state suffered as the Bus Owners’ Association had decided to suspend bus services from 6 AM to 1 PM.
The train service is partially affected as the party leaders and workers staged rail roko at various railway stations in the state.
Most of the shops and establishments remained closed.
