New Delhi, 1/6 (AO Bureau):The central government has said that the two-dose policy of corona vaccination will continue and no changes have been made in it. The Union Health Ministry said in a weekly press conference on Tuesday that there has been no change in the prescribed dosages of Covishield
He said that the second dose will be given after 12 weeks of the first dose. The fixed rule will also apply to Covaxin.
The Health Ministry said that there is no confusions on a dose of Covishield. There are two doses of Covishield in India. There is no change in it, there are also two doses of Covaxin. The Ministry said that no decision has been taken yet on the mixing of the vaccine, it is a subject of science, if any change will be made, the media will be told.
NITI Aayog member Dr VK Paul said that the state governments are preparing for the third wave of Corona. He said that all the cases of corona positive in children so far are asymptomatic and serious cases are less. Paul said that if the virus does variants, then the risk on children may increase. He said that there is complete preparation for the children. Regarding the symptoms, he told that symptoms like fever, cough, cold, pneumonia are being seen in Covid positive children.

VK Paul said that merging the two vaccines is not a protocol at the moment. Both Covishield s rule of giving the same dosage remains the same. Paul said that research is going on internationally regarding the mixing of vaccines because it is likely to get favorable results but it can also have harmful consequences.
At the same time, Dr. VK Paul has refused to give any kind of response to the question of dispute between Ramdev / IMD.
