Oman, 5/6 (AO Bureau): This year the T20 World Cup is to be organized in India’s hosting. But in view of the increasing threat of Corona, its hosting is under threat. However, the ICC has given time till June 28 to the BCCI to take a decision on its event. Meanwhile, news is coming that Oman has expressed its desire to host the T20 World Cup.
According to the Oman Cricket Board, if he gets a chance, he is ready to organize it. Oman cricket chief Pankaj Khimji while talking to the Times of India said that the BCCI and ICC need to take a decision on this issue first. We would be happy to be a potential venue for this.
Approval has been received for organizing international cricket
He said that Oman has the means to organize this big tournament and the ICC has also got the green signal to host international cricket. According to the news, if the tournament is shifted to the UAE, then Oman can get a chance to organize the T20 World Cup qualifiers.
