New Delhi, 8/7: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will interact with heads of centrally funded institutions as well as directors of India’s top colleges – IITs and IISc – on Thursday. Today, Pradhan, who takes over as the Education Minister, will hold the first meeting with the heads of colleges. Annapurna Devi, Dr. Subhash Sarkar, Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh will also be part of the talks. For the past few years, recruitment has been low in most centrally funded institutions, while institutes have been closed due to Covid and most of the studies are going on online. In such a situation, there is a possibility that some big announcements can be made in this regard.
