New Delhi, 1/9: Janmashtami festival was celebrated on 30 August at the house of senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal. During this, leaders of the G-23 group also gathered at Sibal’s house. These include disgruntled Congress leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad, Anand Sharma, Manish Tewari, Shashi Tharoor, Mukul Wasnik, Vivek Tankha and Bhupinder Singh Hooda. During this time these leaders found the perfect place to discuss the state of affairs in the party. In this, the possibilities of election strategist Prashant Kishor joining the Congress have also been considered.
Some of these disgruntled Congress leaders are said to be opposing the idea of appointing Prashant Kishor. At the same time, it is also being said that there is a possibility of adopting a wait and watch strategy from the G-23 faction.
