This is because now the new variant AY.4.2 of the corona virus has reached six states of India. These include Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Jammu and Kashmir and Telangana.

According to experts, this new variant is still under investigation. He says that this new variant is from the group of Delta Plus variants of Corona virus. On Wednesday, once again an increase in corona cases has been registered in Maharashtra for the second consecutive day. On Wednesday, 1482 new corona cases have been reported in Maharashtra. Due to this 38 people have also died.

At the same time, 16,156 new corona cases have been reported in India in the last 24 hours. During this period 733 people have died. At present, there are 1,60,989 active cases of corona in the country.
According to government data, there are about 11 crore people in the country who have not administered the second dose of corona vaccine even after the due date has passed. According to the vaccine data, there are more than 3.92 crore people who have not taken the vaccine after six weeks from the due date of the second dose.
