Congress announces manifesto for UP election

UP, 9/2: Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Wednesday released the party’s election manifesto in the name of ‘Unnati Vidhan Jan Ghosh Patra-2022’ for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections 2022. On this occasion, Priyanka Gandhi said that the Congress has prepared the manifesto after talking to 1 lakh people. In this, people of all classes including common people, laborers, farmers, experts are included. The Congress leader said that this is a public manifesto in the true sense. Priyanka said that through this she wants to tell what are the aspirations of the people and what the Congress will do for the people. He said, ‘All the manifestos we have issued, the things recorded in them are suggestions of the general public. All these suggestions have come only after discussing with the people of the state. We have recorded in our manifesto how we will develop the state.

 

Releasing the Congress manifesto, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said that if our government is formed, the loans of farmers will be waived within 10 days. Giving the example of Chhattisgarh, he said that after taking oath of the Congress government, the farmers’ loan was waived there within 3 hours. Apart from this, it has also been promised to buy paddy and wheat at the rate of Rs 2500 per quintal and sugarcane at the rate of Rs 400 per quintal. In the manifesto of the Congress, it has also been said to halve the electricity bill and waive off the dues of the Corona period. Apart from this, financial assistance of Rs 25,000 has been promised to the financially affected families from Karona, so that they can stand on their feet again.
