New Delhi, 8/2: Cases of Covid-19 are now decreasing in the country. In view of this, schools and colleges are being opened. The Central Government has also now ended the work from home (Govt. End Work From Home) of its employees and has asked all the employees to work from office. After the complete opening of government educational institutions and offices, the question has started to arise that when will the work from office start in other companies including TCS, Wipro, Infosys and HCL among other companies of the country. It happens. Private companies have not given any information about opening their offices yet and most of their employees are working from home.
Recently, in a meeting chaired by the Union Minister of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Jitendra Prasad, it was decided to end the work from home and open the central office at full capacity. The ministry said in a statement that all employees will now have to come to the office. Covid-19 rules will be fully followed in the offices.
When will the offices open (When IT companies will start work from office)
These companies have not yet given any information about when the work from office will be implemented in major IT companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and HCL. It is expected that due to the reduction in the cases of COVID-19 and the daily relaxation of Kovid restrictions by the government, IT companies will also open their offices soon.
TCS was to open office in January
Last year, before the Omicron variant of Kovid-19 arrived, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) had finished work from home and prepared to open the office (TCS end work from home). It was expected that from January the employees of the company would start coming to the office. But, the Omicron variant this plan was shelved. In December 2021, the company said that in view of the proliferation of Omicron variants, the company will take the decision to call employees to the office after due consideration. In December, 90 percent of the company’s employees were working from home.
