Rayagada: The week long 51st National Safety Week 2021 inaugurated on 4th March was concluded on 10th March 2022. The safety week observed under the guidance of Sri.K.V.Rao , Vice-president & Executive In Charge Therubali , IMFA graced by Mr.Ranjit Kumar Nayk, Asst.Director Factories & Boilers, Rayagada Zone as chief guest. Sri Ramakrishna Tripathy Sr.Manager Safety, Mr.Madan Mohanty and Mr.Rajendra Sahu has administrated safety oath in English, odiya and Hindi respectively to all staff and workmen . Mr.K.V.Rao addressed the gathering and emphasized to report near miss incident so that it will help in improving the safety culture. As IMFA Therubali is in proactive safety culture phase everyone‘s effort towards safety will lead to progress and achieve target of Vision Zero. Chief Guest Mr.Ranjit Kumar Nayak address the august gathering and congratulate for the efforts of IMFA team in demonstrating safety in its work to protect self and community by following all rules and regulations formulated by government.
In this year theme “Nurture young minds –develop safety culture “he emphasized developer new entrants with safety practices so that they can be future safety leaders for them, family and asset for company .He expressed gratitude to IMFA management for his focused approach for safety management system. During this safety week celebrations training programmes on different topics like electrical safety for crane operators & wielders, road safety programmes for vehicle operators , firefighting training by Mr.Kulamani Mishra ,Fire Safety Expert for our Fire Fighting Crew , safety Meeting & Spot quiz competition had been conducted for staff and workmen.
On this valedictory function a mock drill was organised on Fire Safety, Sri.Swarup Kumar Jena, Deputy Director(B & F), Ranjit Kumar Nayak, Asst Director, (B & F) Sri.Sangram Hansda, Dist-Fire Officer and Sri.Tankadahar Nayak , ASI of Police ,Therubali Outpost attended as guests. Mock Drill on Fire Fighting organised was participated by the workers and Employees. Sri. Aswin Kumar Prusty, Sr.Manager Production briefed the gathering on vulnerability issues and workplaces and saught their cooperation to Zeroing the accident.
As like every year all the delegates appreciated our proper planning and execution of drill .IMFA Therubali has got the Fire NOC from which helps in mitigating all type of Industrial fire which urged by Fire Officer, Rayagada .Sri Asish Kumar Roy , Vice-president (Mfg) has encouraged the gathering to adhere safety rules.The Deputy Director, Boilers & Factories Rayagada, awarded winning workmen in various competitions
and spot quiz organized during this weeklong program. Sri Kalol Kumar Nayak , DGM (HR &Admin) proposed the vote of thanks to the guests and all present in the valedictory function.
