Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan banned from holding public office for 5 years

Islamabad 21/10: Pakistan’s election commission on Friday disqualified former Prime Minister Imran Khan from holding public office over charges of unlawfully selling state gifts received from heads of other nations and foreign dignitaries, according to PTI.

 

 

He has been disqualified for five years under Article 63(i)(iii) for submitting a false statement in the Toshakhana reference, according to a report by Dawn.
