Chilka, 8/12: A murder has been allegedly committed in Nairi village under Banpur PS limits of Khordha district today. As per the allegation , Sarathi Nayak of Nairi village and his son Sanat Nayak work in a poultry farm in that village.
However, like every day, when both the father and son went to the poultry farm today , Kedar Nayak, wife Sushama Nayak and son Sukant Nayak of same village abused both of them and demanded 2 lakh rupees. When they refused, there was an heated argument between both sides. Accordingly all the three accused attacked both father and son with knife.
As a result, Sarathi collapsed on the spot due to stab in the chest. The family immediately took him to Balugaon Medical where doctor declared him brought dead.
Banpur IIC Jayprakash Parida said that after the son of the deceased filed a written complaint in Banpur police station, the police immediately registered a case vide case number 565/22 and started investigation, but the accused have fled away .
