Chilika, 2/7: A tragic road accident has taken place at Manikpur-Pratap road under Banpur police station of Khordha district, in which a youth has reportedly died. According to reports, Nibasi Barik (21) and Shibun Behera (17), residents of Pratap, were going towards Pratap from Manikpur village on an Apache bike, while Kanhucharan Swain (28) of same village was coming towards Banpur on a Hero honda bike. Accordingly , both bikes collided head-on near Manikpur School.
While Kahucharan died on the spot, Nibasi and Shibun were shifted to Bhubaneswar AIIMS Medical in critical condition.Upon getting the news, Banpur police have arrived at the spot and shifted the deceased body to Banpur CHC and continues the investigation.
