Chillika, 31/7: A tragic incident has taken place in Balugaon police station area of Khordha district. It has been reported that a father and son fishermen have lost their lives due to lightning.
According to the information, late last night Balugaon NAC,Shanti Nagar resident Bidhan Vishwas (60) and his son Uttam Vishwas (32) went to Chilika for fishing. However, at that time, a severe lightning struck them, as a result of which the father and son died on the spot.
In the morning, the family came to know about this and rescued both the bodies from Chilika and kept them in the village. Balugaon police are present there and monitoring the incide nt.
